ABOUT THE HARVEST FESTIVAL
The Harvest Festival McLaren Vale is a celebration of the diversity of food, wine, music and the arts from the beautiful McLaren Vale region.
It offers the visitor an insight to the region’s world class wines and tantalising gourmet food.
This premier regional event is our way of showcasing the region’s brand of great food and fantastic wines, combined with friendly traditional hospitality.
The popular Fair Day is held biennially and is set in the sheltered grounds of the McLaren Vale Oval. The family oriented atmosphere attracts thousands of people and keeps them coming back year after year. The combination of food, wine, music, art and children's entertainment in an outdoor setting, comes together to make this an event like no other.
The next Festival Fair will be held in January 2019, but the Gala Dinner and Art Exhibition remain as annual events.
The Harvest Festival is run by volunteers and profits from the event are directed back into the local community, with over $100,000 already donated to the major beneficiary, the McLaren Vale and Districts War Memorial Hospital.
